Oinkster’s Indulgence

Since we were at bar none the previous week, we found that it is rather empty. We decided to have our own party there. We figured out the venue would be quite empty.. based on last week’s experience. Hmm… We decided to call it a Fren’s Fren Party. AHHAHA a networking party of our frens and their frens.

lol. the rule that rene set was as follow… everyone must bring a friend… and the fren must not be someone that more than 2 people know. hahaa.. it worked out pretty well.. and we pretty much have a table of “strangers”.

Even though it is rather empty… they claimed that most of the tables were under reservation… Even tho they said no reservation on fridays and weekends.

We were looking forward to the resident live band to play. unfortunately, it wasn’t announced that they no longer play there. hahaha… the stand-in band wasn’t as good. initally, we were rather bored by the 1st gig they had.. but gradually, it got better.

In total, we had 18 paxs. we bought 2 bottles of grey goose and 2 bottles of macullum. (haha and since its 1 for 1 … we have 4 bottles of grey goose, 4 bottles of macullum.) The group wasn’t too alcoholic that nite. hahaha we only finish 5 1/2 bottles in total. :X still got another 2 1/2 bottles to go.

hahaa.. we have some happy-snappers of pixs.. And I had made it into a comic strip…

Looking forward to more parties.. its quite fun! (unfortunately, i wasn’t in much of a mood to club) Miss those days when I often chiong hahaha…. where are my chionging khakis….

Its been a while since I hang out with the two girls… trix n rene. Managed to settle on a day to catch up. Cool! I just realised as I blog… its a very interesting date.. hahaha better thant 07 - 07 - 07. It is 20-07-2007. HAHAHAAH .

We wanted some light but not jap. hahaha think that week, we all ate quite a bit of jap food. Decided to have thai food at Sabai. Sabai is located at Ngee Ann City… The chef was formerly from Thanying Restaurant @ Purvist St. (I think…) The food is still good .. other than the portions. hahaha the waiter told us that the Pad Thai was for 2 pax. It came out reallee small hahaha. The roasted duck curry i still my all time favorite. hahaah it has a mix of a few of my favorite eats… like lychee and roast duck. hahaha trix didnt want to eat curry until she realised that there were lychee in the dish

After that, we moved on to grab some drinks @ Bar None. Hmm… decided to check it out before it close for good! HAHAHAHA… guess not. But it was quite empty. There were barely less than 40 paxs in the bar when we were there. The dance floor was almost empty… except for 1 guy who was dancing. HAHAHA maybe he was getting his weekly dose of exercise… he danced non-stop! Quite entertaining..

I was kinda of tired and I went home while the rest moved on for more clubbing.
